How to Make 3D Videos
A beginner's guide to side-by-side 3D — no special camera required.
You don't need a twin-lens rig or depth-sensing camera to make 3D video. With the right converter, any normal clip becomes a side-by-side (parallel-eye) 3D file you can watch in a VR headset, on a 3D TV, or directly on your phone.

Export and watch
Export as WebM or MP4. The file is generated locally and saved to your device. Play it in any VR player or 3D TV, or view it directly with the parallel-eye technique.

How to watch your side-by-side video
In a VR headset, most video players detect the SBS file and assign each half to the correct eye automatically. On a 3D TV or projector, select the SBS option in the 3D menu. On a regular phone or monitor, use the parallel-eye technique: hold the screen at arm's length and relax your eyes until the inner two images merge into one 3D scene.
